DLA Landscape and Urban Design were part of a successful OJEU bid submission originally appointed in 2005 to design and deliver a new educational campus over 4 phases.
The landscape proposals respond to the strong architectural forms and aim to provide a high quality setting for the main entrances to the campus.
The landscape concept delivers an environmentally sensitive solution whilst the innovative design approach aims to set a new benchmark in educational landscape design. A new central courtyard is designed to be the 'heart of the campus' with links to the various departments within the College, whilst other landscape areas provide valuable external social areas for staff ad students.
